Guitar Hero

Over the Christmas holidays I was introduced to Guitar Hero.  It reminded me a great deal of a game IBM used to distribute many years ago called Quest for Fame, this was during one of those cyclical phases where IBM had "Home" or some such to enter the consumer software market , another title they had was Emergency Room I think, where you were a surgeon in the emergency room.

Anyway, I got introduced to Guitar Hero and I have to say it's cool and I'm hooked.  So cool in fact that my parents are just finding out they bought me it for Christmas this past weekend, thanks Mum and Dad.

Gravatar Image2 - GH II and 2 wireless guitars was the family gift this year. For the kids, there is nothing funnier than watching parents rock out to "Carry on my wayward son". The great thing about the game is that it is so totally simple, yet completely addictive. Of course, my fingers are none too happy after the 5th time through on a song!
