Have plenty of memory and want to speed up Sametime 7.5.1
Category None
If you have plenty of memory on your machine, lets say a gig or more, then you can turn back on the Java Just In Time compiler for Sametime. You do this by removing the line -Xint from the Sametime.ini which can be found in your \Program Files\IBM\Sametime Connect directory. If you don't have a gig of memory then don't touch it
By removing this line, your are telling the J9 compiler to run it's JIT, so the code wil no longer run in interpreted mode only but will run compiled code.

All we need now is to restart the development for the Trillian/Sametime Plugin for Trillian Astra. So that I can go back to using that instead for my Sametime colleagues ......
