STT120MCU.EXE terminates abnormally shown on Domino console

Often when I take a look at customers Sametime servers, I'll often see a message along the lines of STT120MCU.EXE terminates abnormally shown on Domino console. There are a few technotes on this error and even a couple of hot fixes, but customers still see the message after following the technotes and applying the hot fixes.
9 out 10 times I find the fix is actually really simple, in the names.nsf open the server document and go to the Internet Protocols tab, and on the HTTP tab below, make sure the Fully Qualified Host Name of the server is entered in the Host Name(s) field. Reboot the server and see if the error goes away.
