New Poll - Running Sametime Advanced?
Category Sametime Advanced
Finished the other poll, should Lotus Notes Workplace be killed. Yes - 26.26% No - 73.74%
So it means time for a new one. I don't come across many companies running Sametime Advanced, so I'm wondering how many people reading this blog are at a customer site using it in production.
There is a special answer for IBMers, as they can skew the results, please be honest with your responses.

The plug-ins hold up Notes client upgrades due to incompatibility, by 6 months normally. StA is ditched purely on this point, because the Notes client is the most important tool. Moans that dates are in US format and security on the tree structure of folders require user names only, is a pain for admins.
The positive:
Quite stable, very appropriate software for some companies, that do not require Notes plug-ins. Personally I like the product very much.
