1 - Windows 7 clients (32 or 64 bit) are not supported?!?

The argument for notes 8.5.1 was that Windows 7 was not released yet.

That didn't really hold then, much less now.

2 - @1 Baby steps Craig, at least they support Vista now, you can't rush these things now. I'm sure someone will say something like "Oh it runs fine, it just isn't supported" any day now, which is advice large enterprises always follow Emoticon

3 - It's Christmas time, so I really should find my grumpy switch and disable it.

The issue I have is that most/all 'early' adopters who are interested in ST 8.5 are running Win7 64 bit because they are, well, early adopters....!

Indeed. But, like Eric Idle, I should also try looking on the bright side of life from time to time.
In person/my personal life, I do, but many times on the interwebs, I don't come across that way. We do have many things to be thankful for this year in the Big Yellow Bubble.

9 - @6 You can use Notes 8.5.1 in conjunction with a Sametime 8.5 server, however you can only install the Sametime 8.5 server on a Domino 8.0.x/8.5 server. Domino 8.5.1 is not supported at this time.
