It keeps piling up on the front lawn, where there are now multiple layers of hard and soft snow. This video of my brother shows how it only looks about a foot deep, but then when his weight breaks through the hard snow below the top layer of soft snow he drops down to the next layer and so on, it really is about waist deep. Before you judge that he is really unfit, just walking in really deep snow is exhausting, so unless you've done it...
