The most amazing layoffs I heard whilst at Lotusphere weren't from IBM

The most amazing layoffs I heard whilst at Lotusphere weren't from IBM but were from Microsoft, more specifically the Microsoft Flight Simulator development team ACES which also develops Microsoft Train Simulator. This to me is big news, one because Flight Sim has been around since the year dot in terms of Personal Computing, Flight Sim was the app to boot up to see if your IBM compatible really was compatible. The latest version of Flight Simulator FS X has sold over 1 million copies since it's launch and has a thriving partner community. Microsoft says they are still committed to Flight Simulator, but I'm not sure I believe that when they have no developers working on it anymore?

But anyway, I'm very critical about games, and FSX has passed all my tests. It's a superb product!
