Microsoft has published some Virtual PC Hard Disk Images for testing websites with different IE versions on Windows XP SP2, Windows XP SP3 and Windows Vista.

contains four different VPC images, which are:
* IE6-XPSP3_VPC.exe - Windows XP SP3 with IE6 VHD file
* IE7-XPSP2_VPC.exe - Windows XP SP2 with IE7 VHD file
* IE8B2-XPSP3_VPC.exe - Windows XP SP3 with IE8 Beta 2 VHD file
* IE7-VIS1.exe+IE7-VIS2.rar+IE7-VIS3.rar - a Vista Image with IE7 VHD file.
VHD files are the Virtual Hard Drives for Virtual PC. You can get a free copy of Virtual PC from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/winfamily/virtualpc/default.mspx
The Vista image is built from the 3 IE7-VIS* files, to create the Vista image, download all three files into the same directory and run IE7-VIS1.exe
