This took me by surpise, and not in a nice way.
Category Symphony Notes
So I had installed Symphony Gold version and had been playing with it. Then a couple of weeks later I installed Notes 8.0.1. What I didn't realize until just now is that Notes 8.0.1 overwrites Symphony, so you end up with the lesser version of Symphony that is in Notes and not the standalone Symphony. Why can't I have both ? The version in Notes is not as compete as the standalone version (lots of missing propetry panels).
IBM needs to figure this out, not only for symphony but also Sametime. What I think customers want, is to be able to have their standalone Symphony or Sametime client, and have Notes just make use of if it. The same settings used etc.
