This could either mean an r-less NYC or Providence accent or one from Jersey which doesn't sound the same. (People in Jersey don't call their state "Joisey" in real life)

Gravatar Image2 - I've been homogenized - I am preported to have a mid western accent - aka "news anchor" ... strange considering I grew up in Maine listening to Marshall Dodge, liven in the Worcester MA area for 6 years and have more than 15 years living in northern Massachusetts.

Perhaps it's genetic
