I would never ever suggest anybody do this, and if you do, you do so at your own risk. Sametime 7.5 has a feature where it can show the picture of the person you are chatting with, if there is no picture available it shows the outline of a person.

How about if you'd like to brand that area with your company logo? Well here are the steps to do that, and again, I would never suggest anyone ever does this

Open the file "ibm\Sametime Connect 7.5\plugins\com.ibm.collaboration.realtime.ui_1.0.0.jar" with winzip
Find the file "Image_Placeholder.png" within the zip file and extract it to C:\ maintaining the folder structure
This will give you a file C:\images\Image_Placeholder.png
Open that file with something link paintshop pro that can edit PNG files, and make the icon as you want it (be sure to keep the 37x37 dimensions) Save and close the file
Go back to Winzip, add and select the C:\images\Image_Placeholder.png and ensure maintain folder structure is selected.
Close WinZip and load up Sametime again

2 - The photo will come from an LDAP directory. The settings are configured through Sametime administration.

4 - It will be documented in the Sametime 7.5 (yet to ship remember) admin guide I believe. Also I got news last week, that it does also now support pictures stored in the Domino Directory.

5 - I test the sametime 7.5 with Domino LDAP, I add a attribute jpegPoto;bynary, but no picture is available on the ST Client 7.5.

Which configuration is necessary for apply the picture on business card on Domino Directory, LDAP and ST 7.5

I am going to defer answering this question until Sametime 7.5 ships. The documentation for this feature in the beta has been poor to nonexistent, so I do not want to disseminate information that may not be correct when the product ships.
