The secret island?

OK it isn't a secret, but fortunately not many people know this little island off the coast of Rhode Island. I was lucky enough to spend this weekend there, and I am off course referring to Block Island.
A foggy Block Island
What's great about Block Island is that it hasn't been taken over by tourists the way Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket have, and it's a nice small island with great bird watching, and some excellent cliffs and beachers. It has Greenways, which are basically like Public Footpaths in Britain, so there are some great walks you can do, and to top it all, if you have a dog, most shops and restaurants are dog friendly. One word of warning though, there is a lot of Poison Ivy.
