1 - This is where you're off, Carl. You thought that one was better or worse than the other. About 12 years ago, it seemed that the country could be on the verge of having a rising third party. Now that's gone. Why? Because both sides, along with the media, have done an excellent job of polarizing us to the point that we see nothing but left and right.

The biggest key here is that while the ruling party seems corrupt, the non-ruling part seems perfectly willing to go along, doing nothing about it but making noise every once in a while.

BTW, the "cough, cough" on the dress was bad. The worst thing to do is get into moral relativism. Accept the fact that they both can be wrong and demand they be better. Otherwise we're all screwed.

2 - Well if that is where we are headed, the "cough cough" won't end up on the dress next time, will it!

3 - Politics is bad umkay. I think it's still funny that we all get so one sided on the issues of the day and"hate" who is in charge. It's so easy just not to like who is running things rather than try to figure out hwo to fix it. If the Dems had a point to thier 2004 campaign other than, anything but Bush then maybe you could be complaining about something else.

Not a big fan of Bush at all, but Jobs seem to be good, my bank account is doing fine, and the country seems to be heading up. Sure we have some issues but at the same time how much of that is a media frenzy and "real"?

Nice Try Carl....I still think you should stick to Lotus and stay away from the politics. Maybe Hillary can save us all...."cough cough"...yeah right!
