Great flight to London
Arrived in London last night on the American Airlines day flight. This is the best way to get to England without suffering jet lag. Logan was a complete zoo with too many people trying to check-in at the same time. Fortunately, even though I haven't been travelling for quite a while I can still use the First Class check-in desk which helped bypass the long lines.
Coach was totally overbooked, so American were kind enough to upgrade me to business, this seems to happen all the time now, I'm not sure if it's because I've done close to a million miles with American, or because I 'm just SFU (airline talk for Suitable For Upgrade), I'll never know, but I wont complain.
It's always good to be sitting next to a Director from GE who paid close to $3k for his ticket, when mine was a mere $300. Although having been on the other side many times, it's always frustrating to know you paid more than the person next to you.

Very nice score to get the operational upgrade on an international flight.... never happened to me on AA, but once on BA...
(PS: close to a million miles doesn't usually register in the AA system. Once you pass a million, though, you'll be "gold" status for life. Which is pretty cool.)
