I wish the Notes calendar would work to my schedule...
Category Calendar 24 hours
Every time I hit this I am still frustrated that it exists. There are probably many technical reasons why it exists this way, but as an end user I don't really care, it makes me work in a different way to what I expect and means I have to think about the tool I am using. I am off course talking about appointments that span more than 24 hours. I get an email for a meeting, it starts at 1pm Jan 14th and ends Friday the 16th at 2pm. Easy, I enter those details into the appointment start/end date and times, and save it and wham, I get that lovely message "Your start and end times result in a duration that is greater than 24 hours".
So what, I don't care, this is my schedule, my diary, let me enter what I want. I will be available before 1pm Jan14th and available after 2pm on the 16th. So marking it as all day events doesn't cut it. What do I have to do, I have to enter three separate appointments. Sadly Outlook handles this exactly as you expect it to. Is it addressed in Notes 8.5 ?
I just saw the idea posted on IdeaJam, vote it up!
