Lotus Sametime 3D

IBM Research has announced that it has integrated Lotus Sametime with OpenSim.



It make make a nice demo video, but personally I think these virtual worlds are a load of rubbish, I see products like Microsoft's Roundtable and the software Microsoft is doing for use with Roundtable having much more value in the long run.  I think saying 3d worlds add business value is wishful thinking.
