Vulcan to fly at RAF Fairford this weekend

Category

Thanks to my friend Tim Hep. for letting me know about this.  Not sure what my brother and Dad are up to, but this would be cool to see again.  The Vulcan has it's certificate to fly at the RAF Fairford show this weekend http://www.militaryairshows.co.uk/new.htm#vulcan11

Gravatar Image1 - That is great news. I saw a Vulcan at Biggin Hill in the early 90's skidding through the sky like a fighter and sounding like it had eaten every thundercloud in the world. A very impressive machine.

Gravatar Image2 - Unfortunately the Air Tattoo was cancelled due to waterlogged car parks so didn't get to see the Vulcan fly, I did however get to see the old girl on the ground today. Looking forward to seeing her fly on Friday.
