It's actually been a few weeks since my last check in. A few reasons really, first check-in missed, was up at 4 to catch plane to Lotusphere, 2nd missed check-in was still at Lotusphere.

So here we are this week. Assuming you read this stuff and don't jump straight to the numbers, not much happened in the three weeks but I know why. I didn't get in my steps, for the week before Lotusphere and the week after, we had some very very cold weather and I was driving our visiting Indian developer to and from his hotel, so I didn't get in the steps on those two weeks. For the week of Lotusphere however I did way more than my 10,000 steps each day. On average I did about 15,000 steps a day at Lotusphere. I guess having the Swan, Dolphin and Yacht and Beach so spread out is good for something, it's also pretty amazing giving how much time was spent standing around the booth. The good news is my Indian friend left yesterday so I was back walking to work today. I have to say the walk at the moment is treacherous, the snow we had a few weeks ago has been compressed down to solid ice, so walking on any kind of slope (which 50% of the walk is) is a very cautious event. I'm hoping we'll get fresh snow (some expected tonight) which will make it much safer for walking.

Food intake, the last three weeks for one reason or another have involved lots of eating out, eating out is not always a good thing for me, sure I could eat a salad, but sometimes I just want to dive into that plate of ribs. When I have eaten at home I am happy to say I have not resorted by to my old ways of buying take-out, but have still made my own "healthy" food.

So with this honest assessment of the last three weeks, it is with no surprise that nothing really changed, a 0.2lb loss (I made sure to go to the bathroom before weighing myself), so I need to put in a much bigger effort in the next few weeks, which I don't really see as a problem as I have no immediate travel plans, or guests arriving.

This weeks weight: 340.4 lbs
This weeks weight loss: 0.2 lbs
Total weight loss: 43.6 lbs

I would like to thank everyone that came up to me at Lotusphere and offered support, honestly I am someone that feels quite uncomfortable getting praise, and I often forget that people actually read this thing. So a sincere thank you for all your comments, and thanks to Karen for even finding me on the show floor and bringing me healthy food treats (Karen should also be congratulated on her great weightloss!).

I should also point out, that I managed to only eat one rhubarb and custard lollipop (and I loved it) during Lotusphere, you have no idea how much I wanted to eat a stick of rock or lollipop for breakfast, lunch and dinner. If anyone is interested we gave out just over half a million calories in rock and lollipops at Lotusphere If we hadn't got rid of it all, imagine what would have happened to my waistline!

About the only thing I typically lose at LS is brain cells.
