« Lotusphere 2007 Review part 2 | Main| Would you like to know how many Sametime users your box can handle? »

Remember how we were told if you had a version of Domino, and a companion product with the same version

Category
They'd all be tested together and would all work and the version numbers would all be in sync and all would be good etc. I guess this isn't true for Sametime 7.5 and Domino 7.0.2, if you're planning on upgrading your Sametime Domino Server to 7.0.2 you'll want to wait until Lotus has a hotfix for this issue:
nHTTP crashes when Sametime 7.x runs on Domino 7.0.2

I know we hit this issue when we setup the LotusphereLive server, so this little public announcement may save you similar pain.

Gravatar Image1 - This is a comment about the web design of your blog, not the entry.

The title is not wrapping in IE 6.0.2900 and hides behind the "IM turned on" image.

Gravatar Image2 - Glad you posted this - I was going to dive in to that upgrade soon. I would do the second fix, copying the JVM from a previous version, but then I think you lose the DST fixes in the most current version.

Gravatar Image3 - Hmmmm... I built a new server on an xSeries box with Domino 7.0.2 and put ST 7.5 on it have had no problems so far. Is it because I did a new install and not an upgrade?

Gravatar Image4 - On December I have updated a Sametime server from Domino 7.0.1 / Sametime 7.0 to Domino 7.0.2 / Sametime 7.5.

It´s a little bit crazy. I have no problems with that configuration.

Is it because we use it basically for instant messaging (BTW: after upgrade only five meetings were made)?
Or is it because the http tunneling is active on the server?
