I had enough of them sitting in the account from my stay in New Jersey last year that it made sense to spend them. I primarily got the camcorder for two reasons, one to show how Jessie (the dog) reacts when ever she hears the Windows shutdown music (Pavlov would be jealous) and secondly for the road trip I will be doing with my brother in June to the US Grand Prix.
To start learning how the camera works I took 15 minutes of video walking the dog around my local spot and it came down to 2 1/2 minutes of useful footage...More footage is needed but here is the first attempt made using the rather nasty Windows Movie Maker softwareJessie at Heron Point

I didn't see a Windows machine at Heron Point, though. When do we get to see the reaction to Windows shutdown?

Roxio Easy Meida Creator's quite good if you don't like WMM, though not free.
