How come the journalist or the editor didn't spot this??

Look at this quote from the article AOL Targets Mobile IM
A recent company survey revealed that 20 percent of all IM users are sending mobile text or instant messages, she told NewsFactor.

Perhaps I missed something, surely 100 percent of all IM users are sending moble text or instant messages? If they aren't sending instant messages what are they using the IM for? Maybe 1/2% are using IM just for presence awareness with no messaging, but surely this is a mistake or a really bad company survey.

Gravatar Image1 - I'm pretty sure they mean that 20% of all IM usera sre sending mobile text messages or mobile instant messages, i.e. instant messages from a moblie device.
