Wayne Rooney became the youngest player to score in the European Championship, and scored 2 goals for England.  Listening on the Internet it sounds like England still need to play much better.  But it's results that count, and this is a nice one.

What happended to our spare man - England must have used the rotational off the field for a drink Still didn't strike me the players had their hearts in the game. How come the Swiss players coped with 44C on the filed and did a lot more running than our expensive overpaid stars. The pundits state this will give us the confidence to up our game against Croacia. We'll see on Monday or will we still be screaming at the TV set.

Gravatar Image2 - Agree. England we're sub standard despite the scoreline. Remind me was Owen playing? No one wanted the ball. If they play like that against Croasians they're on their way back to Blighty.
