What is it about show floor carpets that totally kills your feet? My feet are killing me, I actually planned ahead this year and purchased some scholl gel inserts for my shoes, as far as I can tell they haven't really helped, but then they are under extreme pressure.
We had some good conversations today with some potential customers and existing customers, with lots of idea exchange. I found out that Lotus were showing our Outlook and Sametime integration in one of the sessions today but were unable to log onto their server, not a problem with our client, but a problem with the network apparently, I had no idea that anyone was going to show it so a nice surprise, but even better that people came down from the session then requesting to see it.
Hooked up with my folks today, who have arrived for a vacation, they hadn't seen Peyton in a while so they enjoyed seeing him, I was relieved that my shirt was ironed so I didn't get my Mum telling me off with what a scruff I looked, she should have seen me at golf! They came to the booth and had a look around, I'm still not sure my Mum has any idea what we do, but she was impressed with our new trophy. I think she was even more impressed when the Lotusphere TV crew came over and interviewed me, again if she only knew
I still haven't got the Blackberry configured, and I'm not even too sure what package from AT&T I need to get it running. I'm still to figure out the process for moving my existing number from sprint across to them too. I'm getting so lazy, this seems like a major chore. Signed up to win a Segway today, so I expect to carry that home on the plane Thursday night. No hope I'm sure, but if I do win it then I think there must be some really really bad luck going to come my way to level things out again. Off to dinner now, will see lots more people around I'm sure.
