Lotus Puts Final Touches On Notes Domino 6.5

Paula Rooney of the publication CRN wrote a story about the Notes/Domino 6.5 release, yours truly is quoted. It's always a little worrying when the press quotes you, although they are professionals sometimes their hands don't write down everything you tell them, so sometimes you run the risk of being misquoted. Fortunately this quote was written down pretty much the way I said it. For anybody that hasn't been quoted much in the press, it's a guaranteed way to get sales calls from complete strangers that act like you've known them all their life, as soon as those sales people see a name and a company in the press they immediately start trying to sell you stuff. Kudos to them.

I know the feeling. I like yourself am frequently quoted in the trade rags. I get at least 5-10 phone calls after each story from head hunters to sales people. Hope all is well. Headed back to Portland tomorrow.
