So today, myself and the International contingent of the Redbook team (John Barrow and Washington Cavral), are heading down to Gillette Stadium to watch a smorgasbord of football. Kick Off starts at 1pm so we'll be there a little early to do some tailgating and BBQ to get in the right mood. We will be watching 3 games, 2 of which are in the CONCACAF gold cup, and a MLS game. The first game is Costa Rica vs Canada, then we have the New England Revolution vs the NJ MetroStars with the finale of the USAs Gold cup opening game against El Salvador. The last time I saw the USA vs El Salvador was about 5 years ago, when the two teams were playing in a World Cup qualifier. It was a very very cold day, and the previous night there had been about a foot of snow, which most of us were sitting on for the whole 90 minutes.
