or does everyone think up weird things all the time. Sometimes I wish my brain would just take a break, this morning when brushing my teeth, my main deep thought moment was does toothpaste have a use by date? I had a good look at the tube in my bathroom and I couldn't find one, so is toothpaste good forever?

As a kid I was heavily influenced by TV Advertising, and was always jealous of the kids I knew that got to use McLeans, because it had the stripe down the middle, how do they mange to do that?, That does my head in trying to figure out how they can extrude the paste with a stripe in the middle all the way to the bottom, don't even get me started on trying to think how they extrude copper tubing...anyway back to McLeans, well as a kid we were a Colgate family, and I'm still a Colgate user today, I think Toothpaste must have pretty strong brand loyalty. For any English people reading this, the other advertisements that heavily influenced me as a kid had to be Clarkes Commandos, they had the best commercials, where the souls of the shoes left a big 'C' in the mud, this was when I was about 10 during my 'Warlords' comic spy phase so anything Armyish was very cool. And who can forget the glowing kids in the 'Readybrek' commercials, it had millions of kids eating high fiber porridge, how easily we were influenced by TV, and to think, we only had one channel with commercials on it, ITV, so I guess we were more of a captive audience.
