Have you ever...

It's now 4:30 p.m. PST and I have a few more minutes before I call it the end of my day. And boy, what a day it was! Or shall I say, what a few weeks it has been!!! I'm not sure if anybody is experiencing the up flow of increased activity in their business workday, but mine seem to have all of a sudden just went from 0 to 100 in just seconds! I've never double tasked, triple tasked, and even quadruple tasked in all my life!!! I'm sitting here trying to think of a good analogy of what to compare what my work life has been over the past few weeks. And suddenly, an image pops into my mind. The image is one of a teddy bear hamster running and running on his little wheel, running faster and faster, and really never going anywhere. Just running frantically and going a million miles an hour. And at the end of the day, it feels like you worked (ran, if you are the hamster) your tushy off, but didn't accomplish a darn thing! It was a perfect comparison of how I was feeling! I'm hoping that as the days go by, that all my hard work had an affect. I'm sure that it will and that I'll get back on track (no pun intended) again. I'd be curious to hear about any body elses analogy on the days they feel like this!
