Rob and Liz Novak have survived my landings
Category Flying Provincetown
This weekend I had the pleasure of flying down to Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod to take Liz and Rob Novak flying. I flew down to Provincetown with Jessie and a friend. Rob knew I was coming down as he'd planned it for a few days, but Liz had no idea, it was a surprise Rob and I had been scheming for a few days. Rob was kind enough to spike Liz's drinks with Dramamine in the morning so that there wouldn't be any risk of air sickness. This was probably a good thing when we pulled some steep turns and did some weightlessness. Rob took a video, hopefully he will post it somewhere.
I know it's pretty obvious, but flying can often take hours of some journeys. If I was to drive to Provincetown it would take about 4 hours. In the plane it took about 45 minutes. We had a hell of a crosswind at Provincetown, running between 9 and 15 kts. Crosswinds aren't too bad, they're just tricky when they keep gusting. I have a couple of firsts from this weekend, this was the first time somebody filmed my landing from outside the plane, and it was also the first time I saw whales in the sea from the plane.
