I've discovered some fantastic technology!
Category Twitter Humour
What is this technology? Here are a few of it's key features:
* It allows you to broadcast messages really easily, hardly any training needed.
* I can communicate one to many, one to one and many to many
* It has different communications channels, so if I want to I can move my conversation to a side channel
* It is tightly integrated into Emergency systems
* There is a community where people will happily give you the weather and let you know the time etc.
* You can communicate and make friends with people you have never met before, you don't have to meet people for real, it's like a virtual world.
* You can easily connect using anyone elses hardware, even from different manufacturers
* There are mobile versions already available
* Some people have optional tools to record the conversations and get notifications under certain circumstances
* You only have to pay attention to others if you want to
What is this technology? No it's not Twitter, it's CB radio

We use it on runs when there are too many MINIs that two-way radios just won't cover the range. The first and last car always have to be in touch.
