Collaboration University has had it's first set of graduates
Category None
The Collaboration University has now finished, although I am still here. The my flight was heavily over booked, so when they offered a $400 travel voucher, first class upgrades for my return fligth tomorrow, and a hotel and comped meals for the night I took it. I don't have to rush back as it's a Satruday, so I'd rather not be stuck in the middle seat on a full flight.
It felt like Collaboration University was a great success. Many attendees came up to me, telling me how much they learnt and how much they appreciated us putting on the conference. They also really appreciated the presence from IBM, some who were attending the event to learn, but also the IBMers that came along to meet customers and to take questions. A few people said to me, they really appreciated our honesty and real world experience, and were very grateful that we had a lot of indepth information about Sametime 7.5.
So tomorrow I get back to New Hampshire, then Monday I'm off to England and then Tuesday I leave for Norway before returning to the UK for the London Collaboration University. If you're wondering where Jessie is, she's having a nice long summer vacation with a friend in Conneticut. I have to admit I really miss her when I shutdown the computer, but it is nice to be able to sleep in for a change
