How do you make a canoe stable?

How do you make a canoe, some dead weight, a dog that likes to roam and make it all stable?

Easy, buy a pool lounger, some PVC piping and make stabilizers...

I have to say, PVC glue smells really really good. Apologies that plans have not been produced, it turns out it would have been easier to create plans before building it. I will post more pictures, but I will not be posting detailed plans. Here are some key details:

I used the Sundrifter™ Floating Lounge, Item # 70722, I found one on ebay for about $45
I took the tubing that came with the poolmaster to my local ace, and found PVC tubing that it fitted into snuggly
My canoe has fishing rod holes, I place my stabilizers into those and hold in place using two fabric straps.
Any pipes I needed to bend, I did so by softening by holding it above the burner on the stove, being careful not to burn it.

If I find time, I will try and do plans.
