Cutbacks at IBM

At few inches have been cut at Lotusphere this year
The pedestal display screen isn't much bigger than my laptop screen as can be seen in this photo. I feel like a few things have been cost cut this year at Lotusphere, they're all small things, but they all add up, no lunchs for exhibitors, smaller pedestal screens, the party fiasco (which was fixed) etc.

I don't believe that is the case.
Was I dissapointed with what felt like cheapness around the treatment of exhibitors this year over past and the product showcase then yes, but I think you'll find that's true with a lot of exhibitors and not just me.
I can't comment on the sessions, and haven't commented on the sessions, as I didn't attend any.
My comments about Sametime cannot be interpreted as negative if they are true/fact.
My comments from customers regarding Workplace are what they stated, their IBM sales reps will already know their feelings, not sure facts again can be considered negative and I'd be happy to provide the customer details offline.
Was I dissapointed with coverage for Sametime and other products like Quickplace, and negative about that? you betcha.
I did hear great things about Activity Center, not sure that can be interpeted as negative?
As I said I got to meet some great people, closed some sales, not sure I'd call either negative for me.
