What will we give out at Lotusphere?
Category None
Well we spent some time trying to come up with a nice tag line, "Extend your IM", "Reatime enable your organization" we went though lots of iterations, eventually we came up with a tag line that plays nicely with the IBM ON Demand messages, shows we're somehow related to Instant Message enabling a company, and obviously as I was involved it had to have a sense of humour too...So a real team effort on this one, I came up with the tag line, and another employee came up with the artwork, I think it looks good, we'll be giving them out as stickers at our booth...

I even managed to get the domain http://www.IMTURNEDON.com
I did think it would be nice to have some hired help handing them out, preferably tall, blonde and with Swedish accents, Peyton thought it might not be politically correct though. I would have even been willing to make the logo into T-shirts they could have worn with the IM turned on message emblazzened across their front. I figured if I was wearing one and a girl was wearing one too, how could it be considered none PC? I did think about having a limited edition version of the sticker made, replacing the Instant Logo with my name, but there wasn't enough demand
I think they're fun and that's what Lotusphere is all about, having a good time and avoiding Mickey Mouse.

We'd look nice in a T-shirt. (As it's pantomime time; with a blonde wig and high heels don't you think your Dad would fit the bill and be politically correct)
Have a great Lotusphere
