Today I hope Portugal win, then the England loss will be a little more bearable. Tomorrow I'm hoping the Czech team win, my local pub is owned by a Czech immigrant and I'll be watching the game there, if the Czech republic win I'm sure they'll be a few drinks.

I had an anniversary this weekend, it was 8 years since I moved to the US. Nothing major to report for it really, interesting to think that I have now worked more years in the US than I have in the UK. Have made a lot of new friends since I came here, some of which I met on my first day.

An interesting question that kept coming up at the wedding was when do I plan to get US Citizenship, well if anyone is interested that would be never. I have no interest in becoming a US citizen as if England ever played the US at Football my heart would always be with England so it would be hypocritical to become an American without truly believing in them, plus they probably wouldn't take me.
