Looking for Mr. GoodBar

Category
Okay, I have to confess, I am a huge chocoholic. Every now and then, I just have to binge and indulge in anything that contains chocolate. (cookies, cakes, candy, etc.) Pastries is probably my biggest downfall, but if I need a quick fix, a good old candy bar hits the spot! Here's a list of some of my favorite candy bars: (in no particular order)
  • Hershey's with Almonds
  • Baby Ruth
  • Mounds
  • Almond Joy
  • Whatchamacallit (spelling??)
  • Kit Kat
  • $100000 Bar
  • PayDay
  • Krackel
  • What are your favorites?

Gravatar Image1 - Now I have the damn "mr goodbar, hershey's chocolate wherever you look, crunchy peanuts wherever you bite" theme reverbing in my head.
I think Twix and Kit Kat are my faves, a) since I don't like peanuts and b) since they are both chocolate and crunch. However, if I lived in Europe or Australia, I know I'd be eating a lot more Cadbury Flake bars. Love those.

Gravatar Image2 - Cadbury Eggs are pretty darned tasty...

Gravatar Image3 - I am a Reses Peanut butter cup type of guy.

Gravatar Image4 - Haha, this post really got me thinking back about 1,5 years, when we started the Redbook writing of Domino 6 Developing. My co-writer Grant McCarthy was really one of those "chocolate-on-everything-please-kind-of-a-guy", and of course he got me going as well ! Chocolate milk. Chocolate muffins. Chocolate biscuits. Chocolate cereals. And what happend when I went back home to Norway? I continued this choco-life! SHAME ON YOU GRANT !!

Gravatar Image5 - When available, Terry's Chocolate Orange. I used to get Droste's Chocolate Oranges, but I haven't seen them in years. Other orange chocolate treats are acceptable substitutes, such as Cadbury's Signature Orange Cookies. If I can't find good orange chocalate, Lindt or Ghirardelli milk chocolate bars are my second choice. Hershey's kisses come in a distant third. If it's just an impulse thing while standing in line at the supermarket, then Three Musketeers or M&Ms are likely choices.
