Simplified Plug-in installs for Sametime and Notes with Embedded Sametime

Lots of people have commented to me since Sametime 7.5 first came out that their end users find it too difficult to install plug-ins. Now installation of plug-ins can be managed by the administrators, and in Notes it's a little easier with the widget drag and drop install system (although it's still a pain as an admin to create these). In the past we've done some work for clients to dramatically improve the installation of plug-ins by wrapping them in traditional EXE installers, and I must say they have always been well received. So late last week I put some time aside to update all our Free Epilio Sametime Plug-ins installers, as to be honest I get calls from people not knowing how to use update sites, and calls from people who want the plugins, but are behind proxies so can't use update sites.
So I'm pleased to say I completed that work, and there is now a single installer for all our Free Epilio Sametime Plug-ins. The installer works with Sametime embedded inside Notes and stand-alone Sametime, and presents an option for which plug-ins you'd like to install. So if you on;y want the Wallpaper plug-in just install the Wallpaper plug-in, it's up to you.
