The leaves are a changing...

I think it's probably still 3-5 days until real peak foliage around my place, but I still snapped some nice shots this morning of the changing leaves.  I'm messing around with Automatic Exposure Bracketing and HDR but haven't really figured it out yet.  The first two photos are original unedited, the last two are my first attempts at HDR photo, as you can see I don't quite have it yet.

Gravatar Image1 - is the high dynamic range capability built into the camera or are you using post processing with Photoshop, GIMP, etc ? I have to do the latter.

Gravatar Image2 - @1 AEB is built into the camera, I have to do outside post processing to do the merging. Was trying photomatix. Didn't realize GIMP did it, will have to take a look.
