Sametime Unyte is now... LotusLive Meeting

Nothing confusing here, Microsoft has Microsoft Live Meeting and with the rebranding of Sametime Unyte, IBM now has LotusLive Meeting.
IBM, Lotus and Microsoft certainly like to switch their names back and forth. IBM has Lotus Notes Workspace, Microsoft has Office Live Workspace. Lotus the car company had Lotus Excel and Microsoft bought out a spreadsheet called Microsoft Excel, Microsoft had Word, Lotus introduced Word Pro and so it goes. Perhaps IBM and Microsoft could form a standards committee for product names, as in many ways it would make it easier for customers when it came to comparisons. If you want to compare email systems you look at Lotus Mail and Microsoft Mail, if you want to compare Backup software you look at Tivoli Backup, Microsoft Backup, HP backup etc. Customer wouldn't be confused thinking Exchange and Notes did the same things.
I must admit I found this kind of cheap, when I was looking at updated information on the Microsoft website for details on Office Live Meeting, I was interested to see they have advertisements on the web page. I don't know, it just didn't feel right to me and kind of cheesy and low class to see that on the microsoft.com site.

With the announcement of LotusLive, over the next few months Lotus Sametime Unyte will officially become part of the LotusLive family. Its new name will be LotusLive Meetings.
What does this mean to your Lotus Sametime Unyte customers?
* There will be no interruption in the service and the experience will stay the same
* Customers will continue to log in at www.sametimeunyte.com
* Customers will still use a Lotus Sametime Unyte branded version of the service
* All your customer's current plug-ins will continue to work
* Beginning with April, their invoices will say LotusLive Meetings
