Which products and services wouldn't you recommend?

Category

A little while ago I blogged about the products and services that Iwould recommend without thinking about.  This entry is about the products and services I wouldn't recommend, and would happily dismiss publicly, feel free to share your own.
* UHAUL - I still think of lots of curse words when I think of these guys
* GoldStar Appliances - I bought a washer and dryer from Home Depot, it was faulty on delivery, Gold Star tried to make every excuse to explain that the sound of a little person inside the drum hitting the sides with a hammer was totally normal.  They have very few repair technicians, and they all were useless.  It eventually took weekly calls to the VP of the company to get them to sort it.
* Home Depot - There's never anyone there to help you and if you do find someone they tend to not now nothing outside their aisle of specialty, they also sold me the Gold Star appliance and wanted nothing to do with it once it was delivered, they took no responsibility and didn't give an arse about customer care or satisfaction.
* Pinnacle - Anything from Pinnacle, Dazzle video capture, remote TV it all has really slow, really buggy software.  Sometimes I forget I hate the stuff from these folks and accidentally buy something from them, then I remember after I install it and a number of crashes why I vowed never to use their stuff again.
* Roxio - Right up their with Pinnacle, very buggy software.  I would rather they made it work than themes and skins.
* Norton - Antivirus stuff is supposed to do it's job without being intrusive.  Norton gets in your face all the time.
* BestBuy, Walmart - Any store that wants to look in my bag after I buy stuff.  It's mine now, it's none of your business what's in my bag, if you want to accuse me of shoplifting go ahead, otherwise don't look surprised when I decline your offer to look in my bag as I leave.
* BestBuy - Buy and pickup online, Circuit City rest in peace had this one down, order on the web pickup 24 minutes later.  I tried the same process with Best Buy, order on web, wait a few hours for confirmation email, stand in line for 50 minutes at Best Buy to pick up the item you ordered off the web.  Big fat fail.
* Anybody that puts stuff in that heat sealed plastic, there should be a law against it.

I'm sure I have more and I will add to the list as I think of them.
