Opening General Session had Bluemen

Very strange to see Blumen go on stage and then hear peoplecalling my name. A big coincidence given the blueman fund raising to then have the real bluemen on the stage. They were great, Dan Akroyd was very quick, I wonder what his hourly rate is. I felt the actual product stuff was pretty lite on announcments, and chatting to others it doesn't sound like it was just me. Even those in the bean bags have beensaying the same thing. I wish IBM when they demoed would explain more about why a feature is useful and of benefit vs "this is really easy", the websphere portal demo section was much better at that, using a story to tie the demo together and explaining benefits, but most didn't care cos it was portal.
From my end LotusphereLive.com worked well, I'dbe interested to hear if it was updating ok for those watching. Looking at the stats, we had 1500+ viewers mid OGS, 300 more than last year.
