Pause button for email?

Category

Microsoft experimenting with a pause button for incoming e-mail

Most of this you can do this with Notes since Location documents were first added to the product.  If you're users start requesting a Do not disturb mode for Notes, simply create a new location and call it Do Not Disturb.  Just make it so that the location is working on a local replica of the mail file and it does not replicate.  If they want options like 30 minutes, 60 minutes etc. Easy just create more location docs, with schedulled replication.  Talking of Location documents, another Notes 8 frustration, why if I choose edit location do I then have to choose edit again?  Also why does the list of locations not have a black outline on around the box? It looks unfinished.

The priority feature sounds a lot like the blue ball inbox thing in notes, just with a few more customizable options.

I think in an effort to put everything possible into an Eclipse property box, they caused some of the menus and old-school visual cues to double up...

Gravatar Image2 - "tell router quit" always works for me.
