US Money discriminates against blind people

Category

I have often wondered how blind people coped with American money being the same size, and assumed there was some hidden feature only blind people knew about. It turns out there isn't a way for blind people to know, apart from asking and trusting others.  A federal appeals court ruled that the U.S. discriminates against blind people by printing paper money that makes it impossible for them to distinguish among the bills' varying values.

Gravatar Image2 - This is why Ray Charles used to insist on getting paid in ones (assuming the movie was accurate).

Thanks for making me think about that.
