Uh oh, Notes 8 has broken an application...

And it's this blog. My option to insert a link to a URL is no longer working, it's dumping out the whole url and it's HTML wrapping.
Update: Declan Lynch let me know how I can work around it.
Other discovered things during my continued:
The toolbars are now below the workspace tabs, this is different to all the other applications I use like browser that have tabs. My eyes keep looking to the wrong place. Can I move the toolbars to be above the tabs how they were before?
The tabs are really quite tall, can I make them shorter? Seems a waste of good screen space.
When Notes is launching I like to go switch to other apps, Notes keeps grabbing focus when it pops up things like the login dialog. Notes I left you, don't come back until I call ok!
I love the new addressing that learns from who has sent me emails. Lots of other email clients have had this for a while, it's great that Notes has it now too.

The good news. We fixed in the the latest beta. We had to add a $ field to the form which told the notes 8 client to use the old V7 method for converting richttext to mime.
