Sametime 8 handles status description text differently to earlier versions.

Status description text is the text you see when you hover over somebodies name, or in Sametime 7.5 and later, the text you also see in the chat window.
In versions of Sametime prior to 8.0, if the status description contained a Carriage Return (CR) character, or Line Feed (LF) character then the status description would be empty. Not so with Sametime 8.0, Sametime 8 will honour LFs and display a line break in the status description. Which means you can do things with your status description that you never could before!
