A 133mhz Thinkpad for $10k, bargain!

Category

I have been clearing out some old boxes and came across some old ZIP disks.  Poking around in some of them, I found the spreadsheet containing the order for the Thinkpad I ordered when I arrived in the US.  Amazing how prices have come down in roughly 10 years.

Gravatar Image1 - I think it's even more amazing when you take into count that the value of money has gone down dramatically since the last 10 years :)

In our cantina the price for food raised 6%, that's insane! The salaries were supposed to raise 8%, but the staggered raising process seemed to be forgotten, and now it's stuck at 4% at most.

It's amazing that prices CAN raise every year, who the heck is pushing the prices up, it should be forbidden by law!
