Are you primarily left or right brained?

Category
According to this test in the Austrlian Herlad Sun - I am right brained. It's a fascinating optical illusion, the only way I could get her to spin anticlockwise was to look at my screen from a 90 degre angle and then slowly move back to normal viewing position, as soon as I blinked though she went the other way.

Gravatar Image1 - I had exactly the same experience. It was going clockwise without a doubt, until I asked Grant to look at it, and he was sitting at a right angle to me a few feet away, and I suddenly saw it going anti-clockwise from that angle.

I am not convinced about the right/left brain theory though... I'll need more science behind that...

Gravatar Image2 - I must be schizophrenic. First saw her going counterclockwise, then by concentrating on her left foot I got her going clockwise and it then took about two minutes got her back to counterclockwise, then back to clockwise... and I wasn't able to get her back to counterclockwise again.

Gravatar Image3 - Clockwise all the way. Does that mean I'm always right?

Gravatar Image4 - Clockwise, even with head tilted still went clockwise.

Gravatar Image5 - I can get it to switch pretty readily. Just move the image to my peripheral vision, and forget which direction she was turning in. It's a cool mental exercise. The more I did it, the faster I could switch.

Only problem is, I tend to hold my breath while I'm switching.

Gravatar Image6 - I'm with @2 and @5 - about all I needed to do was blink and I could have her spinning in either direction. chaos !

Gravatar Image7 - I just found myself checking her out all the time... ;)

Gravatar Image8 - Ok....this is total crap. The last thing ANYONE is going to call me is right brained!

Gravatar Image9 - @7 I did have that issue too. For some reason I kept hearing the music from "tales of the unexpted" in my head.

Gravatar Image10 - So am I the only one who saw her dancing in both directions? And more importantly, why wasn't there a male dancer for us ladies

Gravatar Image11 - I think it is just that she's an Ausise. Even their toilets spin the wrong way! I'm not going linger too long on this point, but I got her to go both ways.

Gravatar Image12 - @9 Probably cos men have dangly bits and people would get all upset that the world was going to end.

Gravatar Image13 - Interesting. I can pretty much pick which way I want to see her go at will. Just look away for a second and look back and 'decide'.

Does this mean:

a) I am a control freak

b) I am like Nathen (kill me now)

c) I'm so fully ADHD that I can't remember from one minute to the next which way she was going.

Also, if I see her as naked, does that change anything?

Gravatar Image14 - @13 other, you mean she isn't naked? I keep looking for the light switch to get a better look.

Gravatar Image15 - Only went the one way fro - from all angles and that was clockwise. Maybe its the shock defeat of England by Russia this evening. Looks like 2008 internationally will be a sad one for English football. Roll on Saturday for the Rugby.
