Is Sametime Losing Ground in the EIM Race?

Category
This is the question asked by Instant Messaging Planet, while the title may be scary to some, this is actually a pretty fair and balanced article that most semi intelligent people would arrive at the same conclusions, in my opinion.

Gravatar Image1 - I do think Sametime is losing ground. Those who have looked at the Communicator and MindAlign platform can see that IBM always has problems with the glue. They can't connect systems together worth a shit. Domino & WebSphere should not be a challenge to configure. DWA and Sametime .. .same deal.

Having installed LCS and the new version, yet to be released OCS, you install and forget about it. The other day we had a minor component fail and we were dumb founded. That had not happened in months. Had to dust off the Visio and see which box was the culprit.

As you know Carl, I am very passionate about the MindAlign client and its features. That is an IM killer client and with MSFT's upcoming aquisition of them, its a death nail IMHO for the likes of Jabber, IBM and other EIM platforms.
