OK I admit it, I'm late to the Nomad party

Recently I made myself a new machine for home, ok this was all driven by my brother buying me Flight Simulator X for my birthday, where my current machine just wasn't up to snuff, so knowing that I needed a nice box for Lotusphere to do some powerful VMWare demonstrations, I got a nice Shuttle case, a shuttle bag for carrying the shuttle to Orlando, lots of memory, SATA RAID drives, stonking 3.4 ghz dual core processor thingy and a graphics card, then after a while to get the full benefit of flight sim you also need dual 19 inch LCD monitors so you end up with something like this.
Anyway I decided I wanted to keep this machine pretty clean of software and actually install most stuff in Virtual Machines, thereby reducing the risk of getting bad stuff from the web and the biggest bonus allowing me to keep a Windows machine that should not have to be formatted every 6 months to get the performance back because nothing is going to be installed or uninstalled. I decided though that launching a VM just to load notes seemed kind of crazy. So when I was in Norawy the nice Norweigians gave me a number of gifts, one of them being a shiny new 1Gb Sony USB drive. So I installed Nomad onto it and it works great. Obviously Notes doesn't load as quickly as it does from the regular hard drive but it still isn't too shabby (It probably loads quicker than Notes 8 will, oh why do I keep pushing those buttons). The nice thing is if I go away somewhere I have the Notes client, Designer and Domino Admin in my pocket with me available to use on any machine with Windows and USB port.
So when you ask the question "Are you excited to see me, or is that Notes in your pocket?" the answer is Notes.
Now what I really want to work out, is how to load VMware from a USB drive.
