If you're doing anything with Microsoft Live Communications Server (LCS)

Category
This is a great page to have bookmarked:
Live Communications Server 2005 Deployment Resources

It contains pretty much all the techy documentation, and even a few end users docs such as their Instant Messaging Etiquette Guide and a document descrbing the business value of presence

Gravatar Image1 - It would be great if you could give us your experiences on using LCS and how it compares/contrasts to ST.

Gravatar Image2 - I have worked with both Sametime and LCS. I think LCS on the server-side is a more robust solution with a lot of functionality and capability over Sametime. The client is not as advanced as the Sametime 7.5 client as far as features go. However, it far kicks butt over the 7.5 client in performance and reliability.

The Office Communications Server 2007 stuff is exciting and I would definitely recommend keeping an eye out.

If you follow Gartner at all, they are predicting that Sametime will lose market share to Microsoft over the next couple years.
