Something to be aware of when you install the Sametime 7.5 CF1 client.

The default install directory for the Sametime Connect client has been changed. In the initial release it was C:\Program Files\IBM\Sametime Connect 7.5\ now in the 7.5 CF1 it is C:\Program Files\IBM\Sametime Connect\. This means that if you have installed plug-ins you will need to re-install them. Also if you have created any shortcuts to the Sametime Connect client you will need to update the,. Also during the process of installing CF1, it removes the old version, so you will need to manually delete any plugins that will be left in the C:\Program Files\IBM\Sametime Connect 7.5\plugins directory.

but the plugins need to be copied over again..

Gravatar Image3 - @1 It probably makes sense to remove the version number, so that it can be upgraded to 8.0 etc and still be the same directory. it would have been nice if it was noted in the release notes. Oh well more work for me updating our plug-in installers to point to the new default directory
